I'm cleaning out the studio space and finding lots of lost goodies I made months back, but never posted and some new pieces to. Getting ready for yes, fall and having visions of Christmas merchandise...I know it's soon, but summer is half over! been SO long since I blogged on this blog that I desperately felt the need to post something....it's called the kids are out of school, husband and I launching a new business (scarry in this day & age), loosing my mind in between( yet extremely thankful and floored at the flood of blessings that have come our way), and I 'm the type who can't say no to custom orders, etc. I live in constant. orderly chaos and if I didn't have tooooo many things going on at once, I would really have a meltdown...but I think I did have one in May though:) that's o.k., because you never give up, you always push on and keep going. whew...feels good to let it out and type it out! to all businees owners no matter how big or small, just know that you should keep on keeping on and one day everything will turn out when you least expect it to. I've had and on-going walk of faith to work on and I'm amazed at every door that God continues to open and for that I am so thankful . I wish everyone out there well and encourage you to keep going in your businesses. my jewelry store has been such a place of solace and so enjoyable:)

ok, enough on that. so, on that note, I will be posting more jewels I made months ago and didn't post yet! one in particular I love....this bracelet. so Frenchy and fun to wear.enjoy the rest of your day blog readers:)

So, I hear the recession MAY be almost over and per Fox News....and one of my favorite real estate agents says banks are lending as well as mortgage companies AND the market is "taking off" again with-in the last month. At least here in Texas. whew....we'll see. What I couldn't do with a few trillion dollars that I couldn't pay back either:) ouch! Anyway, off track again, I am extending my earring sale to 10% off to stimulate jewelry sales in honor of this news as I am hopeful and optimistic and it is a beautiful day outside today. I've also FINALLY added some new jewelry I've been tinkering with since Christmas (eeeek! and more to come) and got around to properly photographing and posting. I do love them and hope you do to. The economy isn't so great and the world's future looks so bleak when you cringe to watch the news, so hopefully you can find the beauty in each day and everything you experience (good & bad) ! I for one browse through Etsy each morning and always find something to smile about & that inspires me. Bunny Love...

This is Chloe bunny and as promised to my lovely children, I am blogging about her:) She is my kids rabbit and,well, might as well be one of my kids. But I do love her so very much (wink) even if I am the sole care-giver as far as her feeding and cleaning up after her...especially when I give in and let her in the house and she leaves several tiny reasons behind when I beg the kids to take her back outside to her cage:) Anyway, she is also very talented as you can see and loves to lay on her back when my kids gently let her rest on the rug. It's great having our own version of an Easter bunny year round and surprisingly she is rather easy to take care of and our bird-hunting cat doesn't seem to mind her either. Maybe I'll make a bunny inspired necklace next:)

ok, so I knew something was up when I had over 500 hits on my "my beloved" locket last Friday and I had no idea why(never happens to little old me)...THEN someone send this to me today and there it was, chosen to be on the front page by the awesome and incredible Etsy staff. Not to sound like a complete geek, but I never thought I'd be chosen for a Treasury let alone the front page:) It was a little dream come true since I've put so much time into my little jewelry shop and I do truly love it and am thankful for the outlet of sanity it has given me...I had a rotten day Saturday that really got me down because of a test I had to take for advanced training class-I don't test well, I'm an artist:) ha! Anyway, thanks to etsy and to the shoppers out there who love me and my jewels. AND I DO love the other lockets listed by the other sellers-aren't they fabulous? Such talent. My husband thinks I deserve a glass of red for this one and I have to say I agree-who am I to argue?

Locket Love:)

I love lockets...I think it's the idea behind it that you can put a picture of someone you love inside and by wearing it you're keeping them close to your heart and they're always with you. I really adore these new lovely locket earrings and I think they're really perfect to wear for everyday to. They're sweet and feminine and the bows are tooooo cute. I'm really into bows lately to since they can instantly turn something simple into something girly and fabulous. Funny thing is I'm not that girly or frilly, but I do think they're very Grace Kelly/Audrey Hepburn-ish and I love the classic style and time-less look... Soon to come are the matching necklaces if I can ever get to posting more today:) Very chic!

Almost here..

Spring is almost here! The weather is slightly changing and things are starting to slowly bloom, which means allergy season is about to start again, but never the less, that also mean new and cute blossom inspired jewelry:) I whipped up this new turquoise/locket/blossoming "Sweet Talula" necklace this weekend and just love it. we're having a "Stimulus Sale"...

ok, so in honor of our countries newly acquired $787 billion dollar stimulus package (my head is seriously spinning on that number) I've decided to have a sale, so enjoy 10% off until Wednesday at midnight:) we'll call it our stimulus sale and hopefully it'll be a start to get many more shoppers on board to keep on spending money and supporting indie artists and moms...I SO sound like a real smarty pants for coming up with that reasoning (I am very conflicted on the subject), but I do love a sale and I was going to wait until Wednesday morning, but why not start now. On a personal note, I sincerely hope everyone has a happy valentines day and be sure to be thankful for those who are here with us and especially those who are not. I have pictures of my grandmothers by my desk and everyday I am reminded of their grace and beauty and how much they influenced me and how blessed I am to have had them in my lives.... I am so very thankful for all we have since those in the world today(especially in our country)may not have as much. It really rings true that "all you need is love" ... it's those special people in our lives, family, friends, and loves ones, that really matter and how happy and thankful we should be when we think of how they helped shape our lives and encourage our passions and dreams.
