A New Year and giving thanks...

It's been months since I've last written on my blog...I do have valid reasons, if not excuses. I started a new job full time right after my last entry and time has just flown by since. It's hard to belive Spring is right around the corner! I've had a tough last 5 months though and I hope and pray for healing and peace for this new year. My father passed away 3 days after Christmas-he lost a tough battle with a staph infection that he fought for several months and a week to the day he died, my grandmother passed away at the sweet age of 94. I've had my share of loss this year, but I can't help but think healing and peace is on it's way:) I've just now regained my passion to create and make things again and I am so looking forward to getting to work on some new ideas I have for my shop on Etsy...It's amazing when you find a creative outlet you love and actually take the time to create things again. It's healing and comforting and I love having something else to focus on and look forward to. I'm fortunate to have a strong and close family and it's time now to move forward and be inspired by the things I love the most. To you daddy, you will always be in my heart and grandma will to. I thank you both for the love and support you always gave me and the encouragement and the strength to carry on.
